    Abstract

This study is to conduct a methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of health improvement through education in gastric cancer patients. The subjects consisted of 124 patients who have visited in a general hospital located in Metropolitan area from July 5 through August 30, 2016. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, for meditation, patients with stomach cancer were significantly much increased for meditation after education compared with before education(t=-1.68, p=0.000). Secondly, for stomach cancer screening, the experimental groups who had received stomach cancer screening were showed higher than the control group, regardless of the time elapsed of 15 days after education. Therefore, an evaluation on education is also necessary for the improvement of education quality throughout the reflection of patients’ opinion as well as strengthening of education effect.
